Blakell Europlacer is one of the pre-eminent equipment suppliers in the UK and currently distributes Europlacer placement, Speedprint stencil printing, Evest placement, Saki AOI and Hexi reflow oven equipment.

The company has made the strategic move into distribution in order to increase its penetration of the UK market for its new partners as well as for its own group products, Europlacer and Speedprint.

SPEEDPRINT:

Speedprint Technology is a division of the Blakell Europlacer Group of companies since September 1998. Formerly known as PKT Ltd, the company had previously manufactured SMT stencil printers under licence for MPM and SMTech.

EVEST:

Europlacer solutions are focused on applications where flexibility is a key factor; this is typically in high product mix environments.  Customers who need to build a simple product with limited variety are looking to low cost pick and place choice. In fact a number of our customers use Europlacer for their high mix work and competitive machines for their simple dedicated production lines.  We want to service all of these customers needs and also gain new customers where their current requirements are for limited product range and minimum investment.
As a result we have entered into an agreement to distribute the Evest machine alongside our own Europlacer range of equipment in the UK and in France.  Evest is based in Taiwan and manufactures a mid-higher speed machine with simple feeders and conventional pipette heads.

HEXI:

According to the company, Hexi Electronics is a well-established Chinese developer and manufacturer of quality, cost effective reflow ovens. Blakell Europlacer has added Hexi’s products to its distribution business after in depth testing and evaluation.

SAKI is a confirmed partner, and Europlacer will be selling its AOI product range throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Europlacer believes this is a market-leading product and that the relationship between the companies will maximise SAKI’s penetration in the United Kingdom.
